Regarding Ted Wilson's statement at
 Celebrating Christ at Christmas
event on Dec. 13 and 14 that
Christ was born in the springtime
                                                                                                                    January 27, 2014
 Dear Mark Finley:
I hope you remember me from your several visits to Manhattan Church last year.  I attended every one of the ‘Revelations of Hope’ meetings in June, and your Health Quest series in May. I am contacting you now at the suggestion of several Adventists and because I think that you are able to answer a question that I have asked Ted Wilson a month ago concerning his statement at the NY13 event ‘Celebrating Christ at Christmas.’
I was in the audience when Ted Wilson said, “Christ was not born on Dec. 25th he was actually born in the springtime” and this prompted me to ask him for the Scriptures or evidence that makes him believe Christ was actually born in the springtime.  I did this because I have a Bible Study on my website which calculates the birth of Christ was in late Sept. to early October.
Here is the URL for this study http://www.diggingfortruth.org/article/540/
In my message to Ted Wilson (shown below) I said, “I am willing to remove the bible study found on this page and replace it with a calculation that shows his actually birthday in the spring.  I am just not convinced that it was the spring time and I certainly need to see the study to have something to put in place of this page.
This is a topic of discussion on several on-line Forums for Adventists that I am involved with, the most active discussion is on the E-ventist Network group on www.LINKEDin.com which has over 190 comments. There are 2,000 Adventists in this group and the comments split between the springtime and the fall, no one thinks he was born on Dec. 25th or even in the winter.
If you open this LINK http://www.diggingfortruth.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=2 you can see that 4,956 people have viewed the discussion about when was Christ really born. But the most active discussion is the one with 190 comments ( feel free to check out this group ).
I have sent two messages to Ted Wilson in the last month and he has not responded, therefore, I am asking you the same question. Please show me how he arrives at Christmas in the springtime I will share it on the groups that are hoping for an answer and I will edit my website including an announcement on the home page. ( see message to Ted Wilson )
I have read many of your books and I respect you as a Bible Scholar, member of TOSC, and presenter of Bible Truth, I am sure your response will be understandable to those that will read it.
